Top tether: This is the name for the anti-rotation system that fastens the child restraint system to the vehicle. It consists of one anchor point that goes to the child seat and another which is attached to the vehicle. As a rule, the vehicle's anchor point is located in the rear of the backrest of the vehicle's seat. Refer to the instruction manual of your vehicle to locate this anchor point. Do not attach the end of the "top tether" to any of the rings in the boot used for securing loads.
